Cane is a natural fiber that requires the following care and cleaning.

Cleaning:

• The weave can be cleaned with a slightly damp (but not wet) cloth, avoiding chemical products. Afterward, dry it with a dry cloth to prevent moisture buildup or mold formation.
• To remove dust, use a soft cloth that does not shed lint or unravel, or use a brush with soft bristles.
• Dust can also be removed using a vacuum cleaner with a soft-bristle brush attachment.

Maintenance and Prevention:

• Protect the furniture from the sun and direct light and avoid exposing it to rain.
• Take care not to subject the furniture to high heat sources, as it can be flammable.
• Avoid applying direct pressure on the cane strips.
• If one of the fibers breaks or detaches, immediately consult a cane weaving specialist. Do not let the breakage worsen.
• It’s recommended to place decorative cushions on cane seats, which add a touch of personality and design while helping to maintain the cane without cracks.
